SMS Terms (Text Messaging)

Kinetic Coast Studios LLC makes booking and scheduling software for local service businesses. A business that uses our software can send its customers texts about their bookings. These terms cover those texts, including the ones Kinetic Coast sends while testing the software.

How you opt in. On a business's booking, quote or waitlist form, or in your account, you can tick an unchecked box. Ticking it is never required to book. It reads:

You can see the box, with a screenshot, at kineticcoaststudios.com/sms-consent.

• Program: booking and appointment texts from the business (confirmations, reminders, updates, reschedule messages, and replies to texts you send), sent through booking software made by Kinetic Coast Studios LLC. No marketing texts.
• Frequency: varies with your bookings, usually 2 to 6 per booking.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply. Neither the business nor Kinetic Coast charges you for texts.
• Opt out: reply STOP (or STOPALL, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT) at any time. You'll get one final text confirming it, and no more texts from that business unless you opt in again (reply START). You can also opt out by telling the business any other reasonable way.
• Help: reply HELP, or email contact@kineticcoaststudios.com.
• Confirmation: after you opt in, you'll get one text confirming it, with these STOP and HELP instructions.
• Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Privacy: see our Privacy Policy. Mobile numbers and text opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
